1. Remove as Much Clutter as You Can
Feng Shui teaches that a cluttered home is a cluttered mind, so you should keep things as tidy and organised as possible. This is especially important by the front door, as this is the entryway to your home. You should try to store umbrellas, scarves, and shoes away in an umbrella holder, ottoman or shoe rack, and have a specific place for keeping your keys, wallet, and headphones.
2. Place Plants Around Your Home
Plants represent life energy in Feng Shui, so you should have at least one in every room. Look for healthy, bright green plants with big leaves, as well as colourful flowers and herbs for your kitchen.
3. Arrange Your Furniture Correctly
In Feng Shui furniture should be arranged according to the ‘commanding position’; this is reserved for items like your bed or desk. The main thing to remember is that you should be able to see the door from them, but they shouldn’t be directly in line with it, and you shouldn’t have your back to the door either.
